MISSION STATEMENT
The TIB is committed to providing safe, affordable, quality homes to the Tk’emlúps members. The purpose of the TIB Housing Program is to create a self-sustaining, independent fund that allows for TIB to build, buy, rent and repair homes according to community needs and priorities.
TIB members can access housing related essentials through various financing programs, rental accommodations and construction advisory services.
VISION STATEMENT
The TIB Housing Authority will adequately and effectively meet the housing needs by implementing construction, renovationsand capitalmaintenance program that will service the needs of its members.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
- Communication and rapport between the TIB and tenants will help ensure that a successful tenancy is achieved;
- Mutual respect and courtesy in all interactions will enhance relationships between the community, the TIB and tenants;
- Harmonious relations between the Housing Department and tenants will strengthen the partnership between the local community and tenants;
- Ethical business practices, avoiding a conflict of interest and compliance of all By-Laws ensures a fair and just consideration of all housing arrangements.
