Chief Shane Golf Tournament

Good Day Sponsors and Golfers,

It’s with great sadness I send this email. Our Tk’emlups Community has suffered great loss in the last two weeks, with 3 deaths (two of which were homicides) of our band members. Dave Seymour was tragically a victim to a “hit and run” Friday night. It has just been confirmed that hisfuneral is scheduled for Thursday, July 26th.

Chief and Council will be unable to attend the Golf tournament on Thursday and Chief Shane has requested that the tournament be postponed to a later date. I have informed Sun Rivers and we will schedule to another date, hopefully in August. Once the date is confirmed, I will post it on TIB’s website, our Facebook page and email it to all of you.
