Tk'emlups bids farewell to CFO

The Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) reports that their Chief Financial Officer, Doug Rae advised today that he has accepted an offer to become the Chief Financial Officer of the Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD).

The Chief and Council, along with the staff of the TteS, enjoyed a good working relationship with Doug and wish him every success in his new position. Likewise, Doug Rae has expressed his gratitude to the TteS for the opportunity they provided to him and the experience and skills he was able to develop in his time here. Doug states that he has come to learn more about First Nations governance and that perspective has given him a great appreciation of the work done by Band leadership.

The TteS, will embark upon their search for a new CFO immediately and all parties anticipate that the transition to a new CFO will happen quickly and as smoothly as reasonably possible.
