The Tk'emlups Indian Band in cooperation with the Secwepemc Nation Stsmemelt Project Summer Soltice Celebration is hosting an event for the entire family. It's the annual Aboriginal Day/Summer Solstice Event on June 21, 2010 from 10:00am-4:00pm at the Kamloopa Powwow Arbor.

2:30- Museum Tours, Story telling -- FREE until 4:00pm
Kids games, Carnival style games, Bouncy castles, culture displays, arts and crafts tables, face painting, Powwow dance lessons and more...
Evening FIREWORKS display at 10:30pm - same location as Canada Day fireworks, can be seen anywhere on the reserve
