Designations

  • In 1927  former radio station.
  • In 1931, approximately 37.03 acres of land were surrendered for agricultural purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1931-1244 dated April 17, 1931. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.
  • In 1935 . Revocation of 1935 Surrender
  • A portion of the Sewage Treatment Plant Lands comprising approximately one acre is subject to an historic surrender granted by an instrument of surrender that is not absolute dated January 4, 1935 and accepted by the Governor in Council pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 1097 dated April 27, 1935 (the ―1935 Surrender‖).
  • In 1948, approximately 1.85 acres of land near the CN Junction were surrendered for leasing. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1949-896 dated February 24, 1949.
  • In 1954, approximately 8.074 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1954-365 dated March 19, 1954. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.
  • In 1954, approximately 4.74 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1954-814 dated March 29, 1954. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.
  • In 1955, approximately 1.537 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1955-165 dated February 9, 1955. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.

In 1956:

  • Approximately 20.367 acres of land around Chief Louis Way were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1956-497 dated February 29, 1956.
  • Approximately 3 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1956-819 dated May 4, 1956. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.
  • Approximately 8.074 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1956-1766 dated November 29, 1956. These lands now form part of the Mount Paul Industrial Park.
  • In 1965, approximately 420 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes for the first planned development of the Mount Paul Industrial Subdivision, Phase I. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1965-530 dated February 24, 1965.
  • In 1980, approximately 484.786 acres of land were surrendered for leasing purposes for the expansion of the Mount Paul Industrial Park, including Phase II. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1980-316 dated August 8, 1980.
  • In 1988, approximately 10.843 acres of land were surrendered in the Halston area for leasing purposes. The surrender was accepted by Order in Council OCPC #1988-058 dated January 15, 1986.
  • In 1996, approximately 915 acres of land were designated for leasing purposes. These lands included further parts of the Mount Paul Industrial Park Phases I & II, and the Sun Rivers Development and the first phase of the Seven Mile Subdivision Lands. The designation was accepted by Order in Council OCPC# 1996-515 dated January 19, 1996.
